Money will never be the same

Credit Suisse strategist Zoltan Pozsar believes that the war in Ukraine will change money forever. According to him, after the end of the current war, the money will never be the same, which Bitcoin can benefit from ... as long as it still exists.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Zoltan Pozsar was an official of the US Federal Reserve System. He also worked at the US Treasury Department. This makes his statement about the upcoming changes more impressive than in the case of opinions presented by anonymous analysts. Pozsar said the current crisis is unlike anything we've seen since the dollar was separated from gold, which President Nixon did in 1971.

„This crisis is not like anything we have seen since President Nixon took the U.S. dollar off gold in 1971”.

According to the strategist Credit Suisse, the symbolic end of the current monetary system is the day when the G7 countries decided to seize Russia's foreign reserves in connection with its attack on Ukraine. This created a real risk of confiscation that no one had seriously thought about before.
What's next for Bitcoin?

While Zoltan Pozsar thinks the money will never be the same, Bitcoin can gain a lot from it. However, the strategist emphasized that his predictions that BTC will benefit from the current situation will only hold true if the cryptocurrency continues to exist.

Do you agree with Pozsar's opinion that after the end of the war in Ukraine, the current monetary system will completely change, which is an opportunity for the oldest cryptocurrency? Or maybe you think that it will only affect the strengthening of the US dollar, and BTC will have to wait for its time? Be sure to leave a comment.
